Sermon Series: Far as the Curse is Found
The Old Testament preaches the gospel that has saved us. During the Christmas season, we celebrate not merely the coming of Christ, but we celebrate the coming of redemption and restoration of all creation. The gospel is a massive story that encompasses universal history. It progresses from creation, into the corruption of humanity, and on to the restoration that Christ brings. Our celebration during this season must include a vision of all that God is doing. Our vision must extend from Bethlehem to all the world. As far as the curse has gone, so far has the offer of restoration been extended. Far as the curse is found.
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make his blessings known,
Far as the curse is found.
This sermon series will help us consider the sweeping narrative of God's redemption throughout Scripture.
